Description
We’re excited to unveil the GridKeeper Home™, a cutting-edge dynamic charging management controller, designed for seamless installation near a distribution board or within the ResiCharger™. Operating on LoadLogicOS™, this model can support up to 3 charging points.
Engineered to integrate smoothly with the ResiCharger™, the GridKeeper Home™ is built for continuous operation, 24/7.
It’s compact, energy-efficient, and requires no maintenance.
Experience the convenience of charging using surplus solar or onsite batteries, coupled with Dynamic Load Management (DLM), with GridKeeper Home™.
At Dusk Energy, our mission is to simplify, accelerate, and make Electric Vehicle (EV) charging more cost-effective. We’ve developed a software system that serves the needs of both EV drivers and charging service providers. Our innovative DLM offers intelligent charging controls and seamless integration into smart homes with the help of Home Assistant.
The GridKeeper Home™ allows up to 3 EVs to be charged simultaneously in less time, while efficiently using available power and balancing the load among the EV chargers. This software also manages load usage, eliminating the need for costly installation upgrades.
Users can monitor their energy consumption independently of the vehicle manufacturer and enable smart EV charging to prioritise excess solar power and off-peak rates.
Direct monitoring with current clamps is the primary method for capturing power usage with the GridKeeper Home™, using split core CTs or Rogowski coils suited to the application. These can be added to the main incoming circuits and to sub-circuits in the switchboard, such as lighting, general power, solar inverter, battery inverter, etc.
Advantages
Safeguard the local grid by limiting the total charging load – prevent overloading even when multiple chargers are in use simultaneously.
Cut costs for upgrading electricity infrastructure by sharing the charging load.
Charge from excess solar or onsite battery storage.
Allows installation of up to 3 ResiCharger™ charging stations in one home.
Home Assistant Integration.
Details
Set a static current value at the incoming feed for the building. Available charging currents are determined by your existing distribution board.
No additional measuring devices are needed when using charging stations with integrated measuring equipment.
The Load Management Controller communicates with the charging stations via ModBus.
The GridKeeper Home™ requires one network connection (Ethernet or WiFi).
An internet connection is required for remote maintenance or diagnostics.
The customer is responsible for the installation and configuration of meters, network, and charging stations.
Are you a tech enthusiast who loves to experiment at home? So are we!
That’s why we’ve integrated the capability to make the ResiCharger™ aware of solar power and onsite battery storage. This feature enables you to charge your EVs using surplus solar energy or onsite battery storage, rather than exporting it to the grid. Plus, it offers the capability to monitor home energy consumption from various endpoints.
Looking for smart home integration? We’ve got you covered! We’ve developed an integration with Home Assistant for a seamless smart home experience. Step into the future of home charging with LoadLogicOS™.
